Our founder, known simply as Chef X, started cooking from his own kitchen, chasing flavours that felt comforting yet bold, familiar yet exciting. What began as a few homemade experiments soon turned into something special — especially after friends and neighbours couldn’t get enough of his Monsta Muffins and signature Chai. Those two recipes became instant cult favourites, sparking what would soon become a Coventry food phenomenon.
When the pandemic struck, Chef X refused to let his passion fade. He set up a dark kitchen — a delivery-only space — where he continued to serve his growing community. Word spread quickly across Coventry. People fell in love with his creative takes on comfort food: juicy smash burgers with crisp-edged patties and secret sauces that hit just right, paired with his addictive, creamy coleslaw that had customers coming back again and again.
